End Grain Lyptus Work Center

This striking piece is sure to get attention. The 3" thick top is made of solid Lyptus and is sprayed to add a durable finish. In this particular case the customer was more interested in the appearance and the beauty of the piece than actually cutting on the top. The black base contrasts well with the rich amber hues of the Lyptus.

"Greenland"

As we all know some islands are bigger than others. Just like Bermuda is small compared to Greenland so to do Kitchen Islands come in different sizes. This top happens to be the largest island top we have made in recent memory. And while this top is not Australia(the largest island on earth) it was large enough to get our attention.

The top is solid Northern Hard Maple with our very special 3" Ogee edge. It measures out at 139" x 61" x 3" which is a "keeper" in all 50 states…that’s 700 lbs. of beautiful island top.

The strength of this top is measured by Joe Barbercheck, Sales Manager for the Wood Welded Companies. "Butcher block was designed to be sturdy enough for a side of beef." says Barbercheck. "I guess it’s nice to know some things never change."

Retail Merchandising Table

Here is an example of how one of our standard items can be used in conjunction with a riser to achieve a great solution for a retailer. This table was used in a gourmet shop for sampling or featuring many of the other products the store had to offer. In addition to selling these other products the table also served as a sales sample for the staff to use in selling solid Wood Welded dining tables.

There is nothing unussual about a Baker's Cove Edge Table but this little guy was constructed for a tight space in a residential kitchen. It's perfect for the serious home pastry chef.

Craps Table

For the 2005 KBIS show in Las Vegas we thought we would have some fun. We adapted one of our Cove Edge Bakers Tables to accept the felt for a craps table. This proved to be a popular item in the booth as customers enjoyed a craps table where they couldn’t lose.
